The 1000 Miglia is a historical weeklong road race of vintage
and classic cars that starts in Brescia, loops down to Roma, and then back to
Brescia. It passes through almost 200 Italian communities and happened to have
a checkpoint in Vicenza at 2200 this past Thursday night. Some cars that
participated in this years drive include 1930 O.M. 655 SS, 1927 O.M. 655 MM Superba, 1928 Alfa
Romeo 6C 1500 MMS, 1929 Bentley 4 ½ Litre, 1925 Bugatti T 35 A, 1930 Maserati
Tipo 26M Sport, 1933 Aston Martin Le Mans Special, and many many more. I
believe around 422 cars participated in total.
