CROATIA BEACH DAY

PJ and I signed up for the "Croatia beach day" trip with the Outdoor Rec Center on post. We left early and arrived home late, but it was a good first look at Croatia. Next time, however, we will plan to go to one of Croatia's beautiful pebble beaches instead of the area we visited on this trip.. Our first stop of the day was a town called Porec. It is a beautiful town on the coast of Croatia, unfortunately we only had an hour to explore and eat.

We then headed to the "beach," which turned out to be more of a forest/park that has some ladders off the rocks in order to enter the water. The area was part of a hotel/condo complex area and, after some exploration, we found ourselves a nice rock to lay on behind one of the buildings in the complex. For future reference, you are not suppose to lay on those rocks because they are only suppose to be for the occupants of the building. At the time we had no idea, so we were able to hang out on the property of a very important political leader's vacation home, whose name I will omit.

Overall a good trip, but I am looking forward to next summer when we can explore some more!
