VILLACH, AUSTRIA, [PART 6]

September 25-28, 2015
Our final stop on our German weekend away was in Villach, Austria. This is also the place where I started to come down with a fever, so we didn't stay long. In fact, just long enough to enjoy some schnitzel for lunch and a brief walk around the city.

Villach is the seventh-largest city in Austria. During WWII it was bombed 37 times by allied forces and 85% of the buildings were damaged. It recovered and now looks like many of the other beautiful Austrian cities.
